Do you offer interior treatment?
Our pest control service plans are exterior treatments with interior treatment as needed at no additional cost. Most of our customers find exterior treatments provide necessary protection from pests but we are happy to treat inside your home if you are experiencing a unique situation.
Are your treatments safe?
At Greyhawk Pest Control, we strive to offer services that are not only effective, but are also safe for people and pets. We only use products that are approved by the EPA and all our technicians are highly trained in the appropriate use of products to ensure your safety.
Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?
Yes! We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your service is free. If at any time you are not completely satisfied with our services, you will have the number for the direct line to the owner. Try asking for the owner’s phone number with a large national pest control company!
Is there a cancellation fee if I want to cancel?
Unlike many of our competitors, we don’t believe in locking customers into binding long-term contracts with expensive cancellation fees. If you choose to cancel your service, the only fee you would pay is if you received a discount on your initial service treatment and cancel prior to receiving your second treatment. In that case, you would be billed the amount of the discount you received on your initial service so the total charge would equal the normal advertised price for a single service treatment. If you are past your second service treatment, there is no penalty or additional fee for canceling service.
What pests do you treat?
At Greyhawk Pest Control, we treat for common household pests such as spiders, ants, mice, rats, wasps, earwigs, centipedes, crickets, beetles, and cockroaches. We also offer specialty treatments to treat mosquitoes, bed bugs, and termites.
How long will your technician be at my home?
Initial service appointments or one-time service appointments typically take 45-60 minutes. Ongoing maintenance service appointments typically take 20-30 minutes.
What is the difference between using professional pest control versus applying a DIY product?
We utilize professional-grade products and advanced application methods that require specialized training and equipment. We also have over 15 years of experience in identifying and treating pest problems to help you protect your property before an infestation occurs. Effective pest control is more than simply spraying a pesticide around your home; it is knowing what attracts certain pests, how they enter your home, and creating a comprehensive plan to protect your property.
What if it is raining or snowing the day of my service appointment?
Most of the products we use are designed for application in wet conditions without impacting the effectiveness of the treatment. If the weather conditions present unsafe conditions for our technicians, our team will contact you to reschedule your appointment.
Do I need to be home during my service appointment?
It depends on the type of service appointment and the amount of pest activity on your property. Although it is possible for us to provide exterior treatment when you aren’t home, we generally recommend having someone available at your home so our technicians can discuss the treatment applied and anything that might show up as a concern during the service appointment.
What payment options do you accept?
We accept debit and credit cards. If you are signed up to receive multiple treatments on one of our preventive plans, we recommend setting up the account for automatic bill pay.
Do I need to restrain my pets during my service appointment?
Yes, for the safety of both your pets and our technicians, we ask that all pets be secured in a separate room or area during the service appointment. Some treatments require the use of specialized products that need time to dry, and keeping pets away ensures proper application and effectiveness. Our team will always provide guidance on when it’s safe for pets to return to treated areas.
